I generally remember about 25 % of my dreams. That's just a rough estimate because who knows how much I'm really dreaming and how much I really remember. Well, today I remember bits and pieces of last nights dream and what I remember makes me happy. I dreamt I was with my brothers at my parents house in Ramona. We were at the kitchen table craving pumpkins, I think, and I think I was pestering my older brother. I don't know exactly what I was saying or doing but I had everyone in stitches. Even myself. Laughing so hard we were crying.
Beautiful dreams like that are great contributors to beautiful days.

Pattern & Texture
Photo: Taken November 2010
Ramona, CA
Before I left for my South American adventure last November my mom took me on a little field trip to the greenhouses where all the succulents for csucculent.com grow. I fell in love. The greenhouse were an endless expanse of succulents. Long tables held row upon row of succulents all clustered together creating beautiful patterns and shapes. I snapped as many photos as I could in the short time we had. These would make beautiful prints or wallpaper, don't you think?

De Nada Limonada
De Nada Limonada?!?!
A playful little phrase I picked up while traveling in Mexico. It's kind of like "see you later alligator" or "after a while crocodile". The literal translation is: You're Welcome Lemonade. When someone says "Gracias" you respond with, De Nada Limonada!! and a smile is guaranteed to come across that person's face.
Another one of my favorite sayings involving lemons is: When life gives you lemons make lemonade. This blog will be about the everyday moments in my life sometimes extraordinary and sometimes not. It's a way to tell myself to slow down and appreciate the beauty of the world around me. I hope you enjoy!!
